In this workshop we provide an overview of MRFF, the general plans for their rollout over the coming years and how to read the funding call so as to strategically position the application. Discussion and advice from OO will then focus on individual applications, in light of the strategic insights given: applicants will emerge with a clear understanding of how to choose the right scheme for them, and be competitive within it.
The Workshop covers: MRFF Strategic intent, MRFF Schemes overview, MRFF applications and assessment processes, and tips for developing applications.

Janice has worked closely with Dementia Australia, NHMRC, the Office of Health & Medical Research/MRFF and the Dept of Health’s Dementia Ageing and Aged Care Branch to guide the national effort to boost dementia research and its translation.
Skilled in research policy, strategy and management across the STEM disciplines and in not-for-profit sector and industry engagement, Janice also contributes to quality and professional development for the research management profession as a Fellow of the Australasian Research Management Society.
