Why partner? What are the benefits and pitfalls? How would anyone know?
This workshop aims to help participants know their process, timelines and support structures. Where does it start – you as entrepreneur, you as team contributor, you as tenderer/supplier? Relationship management – establishing and maintaining trust?
This workshop will involve relationship management, establishing trust, communicating to connect, determining shared interest, investment decisions, risk and return, anticipating expectations, and the importance of evaluation.
Length: 2 hours delivered online
Size: max. 25 participants
Devised for ECRs and MCRs but useful for researchers at any level (PhD – Level E) looking to enhance their research partnership skills.
Prof marie wilson
Professor Wilson has a track record of delivering in both industry and university leadership. In her former role (2013-2020) as leader of the UniSA Business School, she led the School in top level accreditations, international awards for innovation and student services, and repeated commendations for its enterprising research culture.
