Presented by multiple possible Senior Associate presenters

Length: 2 hours with optional extension

This workshop involves a presentation and Q&A on how to make a succinct and punchy case for funding on the first page of an ARC proposal. It covers discussion of title, summary and FOR codes and ways of making the first page of the Project Description effective. Discussion focuses on different audiences: ARC decision-makers (about panels and the assigning of reviewers); the public and the Minister (in the case of summaries) and detailed discipline reviewers. Optional session (additional 2 hrs): writing tasks to be completed after the session and presented by participants, or shared in small group work.
