Stephanie Holt AE is an editor and writer working in Victoria and Canberra, with over thirty years of editing experience and over twenty years in vocational education. A former editor of Meanjin, she is currently President of Editors Victoria.
As a teacher and manager with RMIT’s writing and editing programs, Stephanie developed award-winning projects including the annual photobook project (a collaboration between editing and photography courses) and the guidebook project (including a student-produced anthology in partnership with RMIT’s Global Mobility unit). She has particular expertise in cross-disciplinary collaboration and work-integrated learning.
She has also worked with a range of community-based, not-for-profit and cultural organisations, including assisting them to develop publications and enrich community engagement. She has a particular interest in projects around history, visual art and museums, creative writing and sport.
Stephanie has a Master of Education (Global) from Monash University, and undergraduate degrees in history and Australian Studies.
