Graham Steed is the Director and Owner of a specialist Research Management Consulting business (G R Steed & Associates Pty Ltd: 23 years). He provides personal advice to research intensive Universities on both research project development and ongoing project management including grant writing, linking research teams with industry partners, response to previously unsuccessful grant proposals and coordination of complex teams and research programs.
Graham has a long and successful track record working closely with research leaders on ARC Linkage, DECRA, Future Fellowships, Laureate Fellowships and Research and Training Hubs. For NHMRC he specialises in Centres of Research Excellence, Synergy, Investigator, Partnerships and Development grants. He helps train early career researchers in grant writing.
Graham has worked as a consultant for a number of the RDCs and as Program Manager for an international Water Research Network (Universitas 21). Before this he was an agriculture researcher and a state and national leader in sustainable agriculture systems.
